Watch the gagues and idiot lights carefully when this happens -- a
momentary loss of electric power will cause that phenomenon -- an
intermittent connection, perhaps at the fuse/relay box, or ignition switch
going South -- and the gague readings will drop to zero and bounce back --
also any idiot lights on will flicker off, then back on.
