Concours 156

Chris Robyn wrote about the Concours Italiano and mentioned that the Alfa
156 was seen being driven away. The Alfa 156 and ES30 were actually
driven into town and I saw them looking for parking spots, and eventually
parked, along the streets in Carmel. I figure that the only reason that
the 156 was at the show was because it is what they had on hand for
testing in the states. The ES30 was there because it is DiCapua
personal vehicle. It didn't appear that Alfa went out of their way
for the show. Fortunately, the alfisti had plenty of enthusiasm to make
for a great Concours. Fiat, however, did seem to go out of their way to
explain that they still had a large presence in the U.S.A. with divisions
like New Holland farm equipment, Magneti Marelli, etc.
