Does anyone know if you can put a '81 ZF steering box in an mid-70's Spider
with the  "other style" steering box?

Are the two interchangeable?  The only obvious difference (dimension wise that
I can see) is the ZF is about 1" wider than the "older style" and on a parts
car I have the PO installed an after-market tubular header that had to be
slighly flattened to fit around ZF box - not a pretty site.
