just a comment - the spider already has weight distribution biased towards
the front - the above setup makes that worse, not better.

i know that wasn't the intent on the above mentioned car, but this is an
undesirable result, imo.  you either want to lighten both ends of the car,
or none at all.  if you're only going to lighten one end of a spider, then
the front is the one to lighten.
