<my GTV's are within 1,582 VIN's of a 1972 I tend to think
<they really are 1973's, even the Le Mans Blue one, unless,
<of course, Alfa made less than 1,581 1973 GTV's, which I
<highly doubt.........

Forget the speculation guys, go to the source (the company who made the things) 
for some facts. To find out exactly when it was built, fax a request with your 
VIN number and model to:

		Centro Documentazione 
		Fax +39 2 931 3573

She'll fax back what they know about the car, typically build date, 
colour, sometimes when/where first registered.
