Spider Bumper conversion?

	I would like to know if anyone has ever converted a 1979 spider
front and rear bumper, to a 1971-74 bumper configuration. 
	My question is would they just bolt on? or is there some serious
modification required.  I have been hearing conflicting stories about the
difficulty of this project, does anyone have two cents on the issue.
