Hi Graham,
I can vouch for the change! I am still running the stock Alfa Headers.
I didn't want to spend upwards of $300 looking for "performance"
headers. I acknowledge that they do increase HP but couldn't really
rationalise the added expense to "go the whole hog".

I have 2 1/4" system from the headers to the back of the car. There is
nothing special about the 2 mufflers in the system except that the guy
who put the system together cared about the result and knew what to
match to the car. The system is "low restriction" and a little loud but
is certainly not unpleasant. :)

After having the car dynoed and the distributor graphed and cam timing
adjusted (and jetting fixed) it even lights up those car alarms in other
peoples cars when I drive past now too.

I don't have before and after specs to tell you what exactly the
improvement was but the system pulls very well and the car runs damn
fine! I have been told by a friend with a 105 to get at the stock
headers and widen out the opening with a dremel or some such but I can't
really see me playing with that. If I wanted to chase performance that
way I would spring for the headers from Pace in Victoria.

by the way graham, did I ever forward those instructions on accessing
the Internet by Email? I have received a re-post on them if you are
interested.
