airflow vents

Hi Dave,
when installing a radio in an '89 spider, I found that there
are rubber "ports" that run on each side of the radio and 
up to the vent area.  These hoses are hard to get slipped
over their respective vent holes but can be done through
the radio hole with the help of a blade screwdriver.  Try pulling
out your radio and making sure these are still connected.
