jim, you answered tony saying:
"...I'd recommend going to 205/50-15s as the diameter is the same as the
195/55..."
++++++++++++++++
fyi, while 205-50-15's work nice on milano verde's, their diameter is in fact a
bit smaller then 195-55-15's. 215-50-50's are a closer match in diameter size.
of course, different mfr's tires may have different diameters, even tho labeled
the same size.

diameter of a generic 195-55-15 = 23.4449"
diameter of a generic 205-50-15 = 23.0709"
diameter of a generic 215-50-15 = 23.4646"

215-50-15's are a real hard size to find, and the reduced diameter of the
205-50-15 mite actually be nice on a verde cuz it's geared so tall. of course,
we're only talking about a 1.6% change, so it's not really a lot of difference.
at 80mph indicated, you'd be going 78.72mph w/the 205-15-50's.

as far as wheels go, imho, you can get away w/using the 205-50-15's on the stock
6" wide rims, tho 6.5" or 7" would be better. if you wanna go to the
215-50-15's, definitely get a 7" or 7.5" rim width.

hope this helps,

doug
