164 Paint

Hello,
Lots of people asked me to post the 164 Bumper paint
information when I found it. I didn't think of checking the
service bulletins, thanks for the advise everyone.

Warning: The paint code decals on some cars designate
a lacquer based paint, all 1990 - 1994 M.Y. Alfa Romeos
require a 2- stage urethane based base coat and clear coat.

Alfa Romeo recommends the use of BASF Glasurit
Glassomax "54 - Line" series of paint products for all 1990- 1994
M.Y. vehicles. For color information on paint code/paint mixing
formulas, please call BASF at 1-800-825-5000 between
8:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. EST. For technical information concerning
their products, please call BASF at 1-800- 825-3000 between
8:00 A.M. - 4:30P.M.EST.
