GTV6 - upper a-arm removal problem

mike,

stuck bolt in the upper control arm bush? liberally squirt the bush/bolt w/any
generic chemical designed to loosen rusted parts - then start hammering. or, if
torquing w/a wrench, keep torquing - won't the rubber finally rip free of the
sleeve? of course you'll need a gnu bush, but isn't that why you're doing this?
as a last resort, a hacksaw or sawzall should be able to reach the bolt shaft
from the wheel well side - if the bolt shaft is really frozen in the bush, you
most likely would have to cut the bolt at both sides of the bush - i know i'd
sure hate to have to do this! not much room for the back-and-forth movement.
also, the bushes are very hard to remove/install w/o a press - amhik!

good luck,

doug
