I agree. I have known two people that were injured by lesser brands that
exploded in their hands.

The first demo that I saw of a Fluke was in the late 70's. The salesman
insisted that I throw it against a wall as hard as I could and then jump on
it. It was uninjured and I was impressed. I still have a 1985 model at work
that still works fine and is accurate.

I once bought a Sears meter on sale. It went on the blink within a few
weeks. I got a replacement and it was defective right out of the box. I got
a refund and bought a Fluke 73.
