[alfa] Convention(al) question

Joe -
After two successive 4th of July weekends (in SoCal and SoFla), the AROC board
said "no mas" to 4th of July conventions.  (Besides, it always rains over the
4th in Seattle!)  I do not know what the driving force for AONE was, but we
took the end of July because it dovetails between Historic racing in Seattle
and Portland and the Hydroplane races in Seattle and a classic Rallye in
Portland.  Besides, the track was available then!!
