[alfa] GTV Speedo Cable

Cats,

Is the transmission end of the speedo cable in a 74 GTV
hard to get to? I'll need to put in a new one and I haven't
crawled under to look yet. Is anything in the way? Is it
mounted to the side or bottom or top? Do I have to 
remove the shifter boot for access to the top, etc..?
