Where are you at?  I have a 7x1.25 tap and die you can use for the cost of
shipping.  Of course I'll need them back.  Incidentally, I'm working on my
rebuilt heads from IAP and found that several of the cam cover threads were
stripped in the head.  You won't guess the size?  Yup, 7x1.25.  Sometimes I
shake my head at the thread choices that Alfa made on several applications.
Being a mechanical engineer myself, I gotta ask what the hell were they
thinking?

Anyone know if a 7x1.25 helicoil exists?
