[alfa] Carillo rods

Carillo connecting rods are made of steel. They are lighter
and stronger than the original rods and a whole lot more
expensive. So unless you have money to burn or you are racing
or you want to build a special engine because you are a "fanatic"
then you are probably best served by the excellent original product.
You can learn more by calling Carillo or going to their web site at:

Subject: [alfa] Carillo rods

I've seen Carillo rods listed in a few Alfa performance
catalogues (for the Alfa twin cam engines at least).
What are their main benefits? I can't find any info
on what they are made from, and why I would want to use
them over the standard Alfa rods.

Cheers,
Benjamin W.
