[alfa] GTV6

After 11,000 of reliable driving since I made its purchase I've ran into my
first problem. Clutch pedal became harder and harder to engage, eventually
not being able to shift into any gear at all, the piercing sound of "grind"
when trying to do so. Luckily I got the car home to where it sits in the
garage at this time. I know on my American-made cars this meant new clutch,
pressure-plate, throw-out bearing. What is it that happened here,,,kaput
clutch slave cylinder? And if so, where can I buy a replacement? And
finally, if I went the check-book mechanic route how many $$$ to have fixed??

Thx, Rob in Nor-Cal USA
