[alfa] Re: alfa-digest V10 #99



    Bernie, could you look up the capacity and model number of the Delco
alternator you are using?  Going domestic might be cheaper than trying to
rebuild or replace the Bosch.  Dean Cains has been kind enough to reply to
my off digest about his electrical issues with his Spider, and I've got all
the same issues, plus some.
    Mine has low voltage, battery killing amp draws when it's parked, plus
an aftermarket alarm and an IASCA competition sound system.
    I even had a hand-built amp catch on fire, presumably because the
voltage dipped, amperage went way up (My recollection of Ohms Law) and it
toasted the power supply section of my Xtant 603X.
