[alfa] On other brands and car reliability

I find it incredibly ironic that we deal daily with a prejudice of
unreliability in our own vehicles, yet whenever someone suggests buying
something british or Ferrarish, we say "my brother had one of those and
it was horrible" or something of the like. We have learned nothing from
our ownership of these much maligned vehicles. Yes, some cars are less
reliable. But do you really think I would be driving a '78 spider if
reliability was my key concern? Oh, and someone mentioned that the chap
with the Jag V12 coupe should try the 164. I really hope he was joking,
since it's like comparing apples and oranges, or even big fast opulent
coupes and big fast luxury sedans.

I like to think I have driven a lot of cars in my short time behind the
wheel (still being only 19, I'm sure a lot of you have me beat hands
down) and the one thing I can say about all of them is that I enjoyed
every minute of it. Even the 4cyl Isuzu Trooper.
