[alfa] 164 vs BMW

I've had a fair amount of track time in a Milano Verde,
driven 164 on the street, currently have an e36 M3, and race an e30 325.

Given the chassis stiffness and motor, I'd say an e36 325 would outdo the
Alfas, given equal drivers.  The rear drive MIlano will outdo the heavier,
softer, front drive 164.

In no way, however would I discourage you or your wife from taking the 164 to
a BMW driver school.  It's always a great learning and fun experience.  And
you may well outdrive some of the Bimmers, to their great consternation.
