Thanks to all who replied on the lost keys. I will speak to the Heritage   
Trust in the almost certain knowledge that as soon as I spend some money   
the lost set will be found.

My reading of the Haynes manual is that I can remove and replace the lock   
barrel without needing to remove the locking mechanism part of the   
steering lock itself so I should not need to replace shear bolts.  The   
manual may be wrong and if I cant get replacement keys I will let you   
know how it works out.
