Re: inertia cut-out



In a MKI, the inertial cutout is located on the bulkhead (firewall) just to
the side of the windshield wiper motor. It has a push-pull switch located on
the top of it to enable or disable the fuel pump.

It's intended to shut down the fuel pump in the event of a crash, so that
fuel doesn't spill all over if the fuel lines are broken.
