Hi In my Mark 1 Preliminary Service Information it suggests the torsion bar is defective (splined intput shaft) or the pin holding the torsion bar to the spool shaft is broken (pin through splines to hold inner shaft position). I have also heard of racks actually being loose on their mountings. Peter H
