Front Brake Query

Hi Nick

Unipart are able to supply virtually all fast-moving parts = simple service
items as these make money for them. So parts which in simple terms usually
fit other cars as well - for instance spark plugs - are still availble from
them.

However, some parts Unipart source through BL Heritage which results in
high quality parts, also supplied by Unipart and the Stag specialists.

What you should be aware of however, is that your Unipart corporate parts
wholesalers are well aware these days that Rimmer is the biggest stockist
of Stag parts, and sometimes buy from them to meet customer requests. So
they may appear to supply more than they can actually source directly out
of the Unipart warehouse.

As a rule of thumb, any part which begins with the letter 'G' is a Unipart
item; e.g.,

GFE = oil and air filters
GSP = spark plugs
GLB = light bulb
GFB = fan belt
GTS = thermostat
GCS = contact set

and so on.

As stated, their quality is usually the best and supply very quick, they
are also generally competitively priced and particularly so if you can
squeeze a nice discount.

Note the above remarks apply to the UK, but in many overseas markets the
Rover/Unipart distributor may claim the parts are not available any more -
this will apply more strongly when Unipart loses the Rover supply contract
in a couple of years.
