I purchased carpet locally at an upholstery suppy store. I then purchased the
rubber inserts from someone (maybe Rimmers) and had it stitched into the
carpet. I was able to do a great job by simply taking the old carpet pieces
apart (the carpet is wrapped around the underlayment as I recall) and glueing
them together. It was all pretty easy and looks great.
