Re: BW T-35 Auto Trans

Hello Dave and all,

May I please clarify - when I said it was a German box I should have elabotrated by saying its an HP-22 made by the German automotive components company ZF, and that this unit is used in Jaguars, BMWs, Volvos, and a number of others.

The advantage of using it is that it is available reconditioned at a viable costs and is reasonably sophisticated short of going for one integrated with electronic engine management. If anyone wants to know more about the HP-22 there is a lot of
into on the web, I don't have the URL to hand but found it previously by searching using HP-22 (or maybe HP 22?). Clive and Russell buy the boxes from a reconditioning company in Germany.

Regards,
Phil Wardle
