Hi Ian
The spin on filter holds less than the bowl type which holds 0.56l (Both
workshop manuals).
In fact when I first saw the spin on,  I thought....... hmmm a bit small for a
3.0 litre
I have however used them for six years (c10 oil changes) with no loss of oil
pressure or any nasties so I have stopped worrying about this, and concluded
that size is not important in this case!!
