Hi Brian and All

You mention a tube that the dip stick goes into that may be loose.

On my stag there is no tube and the dip stick goes directly into the engine
block, should there be a tube or is this an aftermarket gadget ?

If there should be a tube then am I running the engine on low oil levels.

If so the car has performed well and no problems !!
