Dear fellow staggers,

first the good news, it's now really on the road and running fine.

I "solved" the problem of my high reading temp. Till I'll get my new "Constanter" I just put in a 10 OHM Resistor (2 Watt type). This reduces reading about 1/4.

New problem, my carbs are leaking some fuel AFTER I stop the engine throughout the carb overflow. Is that easy to fix (like the O ring for the damper oil) or does it require to take all apart ?

Another question. After I adjusted the carbs to a much leaner mixture (and solved the not sarting from hot problem) I need a significant time to drive the car with the choke pulled before it runs withour stalling during accelerations.

When starting from cold I need to run the engine with choke for about 2-3 miles with slowly reducing choke. Is that typical ? Before that I only needed choke for starting and the first yards.

Do you recommend me to turn it 1/4 richer ?
