    Do you have electronic ignition or dual points?  Also, Mark I or
Mark II and vacuum advance configuration?
    First, this sounds like plug/coil wires, spark plug gaps may be too
wide, or arcing in the distributor cap, or lastly the coil.  Depending
on the spark plug wires, sometimes they burn out right at the connection
to the plug in the moisture boot.  This condition is usually agrivated
by heat, and is most noticable under acceleration.
