I did the DVLA thing and got a wad of Registration documents, but there
was a nominal charge when I did it two years ago. I have been unable to
trace any of the early owners of my car but I haven't given up yet.

	I don't know if you can still do it but I phoned the DVLA and
they sent
	me FOC a copy of all the previous Registration documents showing
the
	address of the previous owners. I managed to contact a few of
them and
	found out a bit more information.

	It's amazing that so many still lived at the same address 10
years on.
