Re: Spax and Koni Rears

Hello Peter,
Larger piston shafts, Manually Adjustable for ride stiffness, heavy duty
valving and lifetime warranty if you believe all the hype. I've got a set for my
Stag (I believe all the hype, tell me the sky is falling...), and they are
noticeably heavier duty than the Spax installed on a friends Stag. I can not yet
attest to the ride and handling difference on a Stag, but I know that Koni's were
a factory / dealer option upgrade when the Stag was being produced according to
the sales brochure. I had Koni's on my TR250, loved 'em! I think that the Spax
are gas charged, where the Koni's are not.

Regards,
Glenn Merrell
