Greetings Peter,

   There is probably no substitute for a supplier that CARES. Of course, he
will tell you that the part is not available, when someone else "has it in
stock" (the crap version). And, yes, I've been tempted into ordering it
anyway...
   So you're thinking that maybe some suppliers DO CARE (at least a
little), but we're not communicating? How about a joint letter that starts
off with a top 10 crap list (along with the supplier's name)?
   But I really don't have anything to contribute; most of my Stag specific
parts have been bought from Stag Specialists in Arizona, or NOS from
"foreign car" parts houses in cities I travel through. I personally visit
these places toward the end of the day and tell them I will buy any Stag
parts they can find (acquired a '73 ignition switch last month in Illinois
for $55.00). Frequently, the evesdropping owner will come out of his office
and give you a strange look that I think is one of half respect and half
pity...
