A few years ago I siezed a cam shaft, and stripped all the teeth of one of the
crankshaft gears. Nautrally we had bent valves etc.
Tony Hart did the job for just under £500. He only did the one side.
That was in 93 15,000 miles ago. Its worked fine since.
I think Abinger are going to gild the lily. £1000 is 30 hours labour!!!! that
asumes £500 for parts, and a brand new head is less than this. I should get
another quote. Are you in the Stag Owners Club. There are always plenty of Ads
