A possible starting point could be with the individual resonsible for this
site: www.johnscars.com. Although they seem to specialize in Jag and TR7/8,
he has been around a long time and may have had some experience with the
Stag. The site is pretty entertaining anyway; check their description of
their big block chevy conversion kit for the Jag XJ series (8+ Litres!). I
would email them, but I don't know much about the rack. Although I rebuilt
mine about 10 years ago, I've managed to block most of the memory! I do
remember that it was almost comically difficult and that one wrong move
would result in ruined seals.
