Not sure I am following the comments / problems with heater valves....I have
both the new type (round and some say are hard to install and I believe the
heater control works backwards) and the old style that looks like a cigar
(sort of) and comes with a heater sensor. Both are new and old style costs
about twice the cost of new style. Neither is plastic.
