The LE 124s were badged 1980 and 1981.  All fiats poduced in or 
before the 6th month of a year were badged that year.  All cars 
produced in the 7th month and on were badged the next year.  Im 
certain that this was done to keep things interesting.

At least I think thats how it worked.
