I've got the same problem. I tried dismantling the whole thing, but 
couldn't separate the front clear plastic from the section that 
contains the gauge markings. These two come off the actual 
instruments together. Can you get them apart without breaking them?

ps Is there any way to fix the top engine mount without completely 
replacing it? (The short bar mounted at the top of the engine and the 
rear firewall that keeps the engine from moving forward or backwards)
