So I take it that folks with 392s and manual transmissions in
Travelalls report problems with the stock 11" clutch.(?) Don't get me
wrong here, I don't doubt problems with 11" clutches but I am
surprised that IH didn't offer(well atleast the brochure doesn't
include a 12" option) a larger clutch if the 11" was marginal.
The 392/T495 combo I got out of a schoolie has 13" clutch...
I think I'm running an 11" clutch in my trail Scout. The same clutch
setup was behind the 196 in front of a T15 when I bought the Scout. I
did replace the clutch at some point along the way - I think I'm still
running the Reman I bought from Giddum Up now.
