=>Just bought my first IH, a '73 1110 4x4. How can I tell which motor it has?
=>It's a v8 with a 2 barel but I don't know if it a 345 or not. The air
=>cleaner is not the original and there are no obvious stickers.

=There's a machined pad at the forward upper passenger's corner of the engine
=block with the displacement stamped in it.

=Prolly needs cleaned. On the 4x4's you can see it through the fender well if
=you lift the rubber flap.

=Jim

Welcome Randy.

FWIW Jim, Ive been able to see the block ID pad
on most 2wd IHs from the fender well too.
It does take some contortion sometimes. :D
