Tom, that's not a left coast thing. That's everywhere.
Here in St. Louis too. Used to crack me up when i had
to go downtown to wharehouses for the parts store.
Drive through ghetto, and you'll see a 79 Olds w/ more
rust than a pair of scouts, but it'll have a $2000
stereo & $5k worth of wheels & tires.
