The parking brake should be located on the rear of the transmission.
It's basically a cable actuated drum brake.  That's how it's setup on
the bus I own (with hydraulic brakes).  Mount the parking brake lever
inside the cab and you're set.  It could even serve as an emergency
brake since it can keep 28,000 pounds of bus from moving and I think
that's the only option you have to stop a bus if your brakes fail.
