There is a 345 V8. It's hard to distinguish it from the 392, 304, or 266
unless you know what you're looking for.

On the passenger side of the block, just below the head, there is an area
about 1.5" long and about 3/8" tall that has the size of the engine. Right
below that is the serial number of the block.
