Make sure they or you use a good 6 point socket instead of the standard 12
and not a worn one. Better chance of not rounding them.
I believe all impact sockets are 6 anyways but some are sure to worn a
bunch.
If it really gets to bet desperate could the studs be drilled to weaken them
so they snap off or even drill them large enough to drill off the nuts. They
probably will drill hard. Then just punch out the remains and replace the
stud. At least this says the wheel.
