[ihc] how to make your truck rise!

I sent this earlier, but; it was title Viagra for your truck, but;
Richard's antispam must have snagged it.
Digesters,
Yesterday, when I swapped axles, I also swapped the rear springs. Now
Good, before the swap, had, what I always thought of as Rancho springs,
though I had no evidence for or against this. They were very stiff with
very little flex.
After swapping the rear I also put Triangle rear springs on with the
axle. Since that was what Bad had under it.
It has been close to 3 years since I last drove one of my Triangle
sprung trucks. I forgot what a nice ride they had. Also, before the swap
the Rancho springs, with the 33's, just cleared the rear wheel well. I
mean just cleared. The front edge of the wheel opening was less than a
quarter of an inch from the tire. Now, with the Triangles, the truck has
grown almost 2 inches! There is loads of room under the wheel well
openings in the back, and I am now looking dowwwwn the hood. I'll need
to get the front axle and springs swapped in soon now, so that the
ratios match and so that the springs match.
So, if you want a good, true lift for your Scout, call Super Scout
Specialists and get a set of the Triangles. You can't beat them and they
hold their ride hight very well. These springs are 6, maybe 7 years old
and they obviously haven't shrunk very much.
