Hope all the rest of you had a good weekend. I made the most of mine by gathering more IH parts. It works out nice that the wife's sister lives in suburb at the northwest edge of Detroit. So this weekend we went to visit her. On the way on Friday evening we sidetrack over to a guy I know between Napoleon and Brooklyn which is south and east of Jackson, Mi to pick up some fenders and running boards. Then on over to her sister's place. The fenders and running boards are for a KB7. They are not perfect and will need work but are very usable and a whole lot better than what I have. Well really most anything is better that what I have. Anyways this sidetrip only detoured about 60 mile or so. On Saturday I left my wife with her sister to do there thing and I ran up to a place North and West of Flint near a the town of Chesaning and picked up a Blue Diamond 269 engine. Then back to Detroit,only 190 miles sidetrip. Then went out to dinner and then home. Everyone is happy. Now how close did I come to any of the people on the list in my 520 mile parts run/sister visit? And has any of you see the guys place near Chesaning, Mi that has over 100 plows, mowers etc. all painted up and all along his property, with birdhouses and all sort of thing mixed in? David A.
