RE: [ihc] RE: David's B-bonanza

Yup, looks like we may have a winner, 2110FF variant by the looks of it:

David, since you mentioned VW, another version of this is apparently the
'bugspray'(!).

For manuals, it's tough to beat Binder Books. You'll want a service
manual(CTS-XXXX) and a parts catalog eventually(MT-107 IIRC).

Unleaded? What Allen said. The motor has hardened exhaust valve seat inserts
stock. No need to pull the head unless you think something's amiss. If you
suspect that the cylinders are badly carboned, you can trickle a cup or so
of mineral spirits down the carb throat with the throttle about 1/2 open.
Remember when a tune up at the shop used to include a can of 'combustion
chamber cleaner' ;) Just be prepared for a huge smoke cloud, and keep in
mind that there's a slight chance you'd remove carbon that's *helping*
rather than hurting. Some folks like Seafoam for this application, I've
never used it.

Mine came with a Holley 2110 2-bbl. Joel was also nice enough to
throw in a NOS one, thus forcing me to use it and not "upgrade", hehe.
