This reminds me of the so-called "Safari" Travelall. It had access panels to
storage space in the rear 3/4 sections. There were like... 5 of them made?
Not sure what the story was on that, probably an aftermarket deal, but saw a
picture/article on it once, and have been scheming ever since. I hate that
"wasted space".

Then, punching up the forward half of the roof, with an access panel in the
rear half like John Wayne's custom T'All is another item on my dream list.
(I guess he had this done so he could wear a 10 gallon hat while driving,
and stand up to shoot on his ranch while being driven. Again, a picture I
saw on the net, with a story-caption; don't know from first hand accounts...

On a more practical note, the valve you're talking about, along with the
dual control is standard on some compressors. I bet you could work that into
your SCBA or C02 tank modifications. Maybe Willie is doing something along
those lines with his aviation tank for his Travelette?

I wish I wasn't looking at a weeks worth of snow starting here tomorrow
night. Hopefully, next year the projects will all have enough room in the
new shop.
