I tried adding some and it didn't work.  So I drained the system and
replaced it with Valvoline synthetic blend with stop leak, drained it
again and replaced it with the same stuff.  Every time - no change.

I did in the past, and I will again tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure the
hoses are good.  I've had the leak in the pump for as long as I've had
the truck, which goes back to May.  There was a leak at one of the
hoses, but I think I fixed that back in June with no signs of a relapse.
