Re: [ihc] Timken prices

Paul,
I don't know what a fair markup for the Dutch
importer is, but for reference, I bought new bearings for my
D44 1210 front axle in Oct 1996. I paid US$ 8.09 per
race and US$ 14.74 per bearing cone for Timken
at a local bearing supply house in Seattle WA.

These are larger than a 2WD axle. I looked up the
applications of #26884 at www.timkeninfo.com
and it certainly isn't an uncommon bearing, it fits
a couple hundred Chevy applications.

Hopefully you can find them for a lower price somewhere.

Allan W.
